About Us

Our Mission

The Central Mass Sparks Association is a registered 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization, and through it operates “Rehab-78”. Rehab-78 is an Incident Support Unit, providing rehabilitation and canteen services to first responders in Massachusetts Fire Districts 7 and 8, and the surrounding area. Some services we provide is snacks, water, Gatorade, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, hot food for long term incidents, heating/cooling, misting fans, a place to sit for EMS to check in with first responders, benches, and much more.

Future Expansion plans for our group to transport portable toilets to incident scene for first responder and victim personnel use, as well as a Side-By-Side for Rural / Forested Incidents.

Along with providing assistance to the First Responders on scene, Rehab-78 Provides much needed support to the victims of these incidents. Such items include personal care kits, notebooks, Kid Kits, Fresh clothing, and much more.

Firefighting is known to be one of the most dangerous jobs in the United States, with one of the most common causes of injuries being overexertion and strain. Through this service, we aim to provide support and lower the amount of injuries.

Our Story

The Central Mass Sparks Association was founded in December of 2024. From the get-go, we had thoughts of both the organization as a whole, as well as our Rehab-78 Responses. We want to provide the community with both  a place to gather, and a way to give back.
