About Us

Our Mission

The Central Mass Sparks Association is a registered 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization, and through it operates “Rehab-78”. Rehab-78 is an Incident Support Unit, providing rehabilitation and canteen services to first responders in Massachusetts Fire District 7, and the surrounding area. Some services we plan to provide is snacks, water, Gatorade, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, hot food for long term incidents, heating/cooling, misting fans, a place to sit for EMS to check in with first responders, benches, and eventually, a portable toilet that will be bussed to scenes.

Firefighting is known to be one of the most dangerous jobs in the United States, with one of the most common causes of injuries being overexertion and strain. Through this service, we aim to provide support and lower the amount of injuries.

Our Story

The Central Mass Sparks Association was founded in December of 2024. From the get-go, we had thoughts of both the organization as a whole, as well as our Rehab-78 Responses. We want to provide the community with both  a place to gather, and a way to give back.
